Prem Rawat brings a shining message of hope and peace. “What you are looking for,” he says, “is within. Your truth is within, your peace is within, and I can help you get in touch with it.”
There is more to his message than words. He offers a practical way to experience peace within.
This video presents the possibility he offers and how to make the most of it.
Prem Rawat talks about a way to look within where people can be introduced to themselves. “If you ever want to see a wonder,” he says, “I suggest you take a look at yourself. Not the concepts, not the ideas, not the goods, not the bads. But a timeless purity of existence. A witness to the beauty that is.”
This video presents some of the significant humanitarian initiatives recently undertaken by The Prem Rawat Foundation. Prem Rawat, known also by the honorary title Maharaji, has traveled the world for four decades, inspiring people to find peace within. He created the Foundation to help make his message of peace available, and he provided the vision for supporting and spearheading significant initiatives that help improve the quality of life for people most in need around the world.
The award-winning TV series Words of Peace, presents a unique and inspiring perspective on the quest for personal peace. The series features highlights of addresses given by Prem Rawat around the world.
Maharaji talks about the difference between philosophies and a reality that each human being wants to know and is searching for: “A nature of a human being is to try to find. Always, always. Trying to find a comfort…a joy…a peace. A peace, yet undefined.”
Maharaji talks about recognizing the ultimate blessing in life: “Breath has been bestowed upon us. And not just once, but again and again and again.” He says that finding peace and joy is each person’s potential, “where you can take maximum benefit of this existence.”
Maharaji talks about the similarity in every human being: the want from the heart to be fulfilled. “Why not get in touch with that perfection that is within you?” he asks. “Why not understand what your heart is trying to say to you?”
Maharaji talks about the breath that brings the gift of life and the possibility to understand who we are. “We need to be in certainty about ourselves,” he says, “not uncertainty. In no uncertain terms, [we need to] know the value of this existence.”
“What do you practice in your life?” Maharaji asks. “Whatever you practice, you’re going to get good at. If you practice peace, you’re going to get very good at it. If you practice knowing yourself, you’re going to get very good at it. And you will know who you are.”
“In the pursuit of prosperity,” Prem Rawat says, “we ignore the formula set forth a long, long time ago: peace, then prosperity.” Though we have different resources, the same ambition drives every human being, he says, “and at the top of the list has always been the need to feel contentment, to feel peace.”
“Have you ever felt desperate for peace?” Maharaji asks. He talks about how people often hide their need for peace planning for tomorrow, for their favorite day to come. But that one day, he says, can only come as today.

What is the Online Media Syndication System (OMSS)?
The Online Media Syndication System is designed to provide a centralized resource of high-quality online media content that can be accessed by related Web sites, blogs, personal web pages, etc.
Syndication benefits both the centralized resource and the Web sites displaying it. For the receiving site, content syndication is an effective way of adding video and audio material with very little effort. For the transmitting site, syndication drives exposure across numerous online platforms, and leverages the effort expended in the creation of online materials.
Both media and player are hosted on our servers, which are located in strategic locations in the world, to provide excellent video quality and viewing experience. Adding a small snippet of code to your website enables you to take advantage of the media and the player effortlessly.
What is special about the technology used?
The video player automatically detects the optimum video material according to the user's connection speed. Video starts playing immediately with no need for buffering or delays. A full-screen mode is also available. Users can play from any portion of the video without waiting for download as with other technologies. See more details on the Player help tab.
What kind of content is available?
The OMSS contains entire webcasts of events, short video clips, special compilations, as well as other related material. You can subscribe to our mailing lists to receive alerts when new material is added.
How do I take advantage of this?
The key word is "syndication." All materials tagged as "free" can be easily incorporated into your website, blog, or personal webpage, by inserting a short snippet of code. Information about this is provided with each clip on the Media List.
What do the different controls in the video player do?
Check the Player help tab for details about the different player controls and what these do.
What about material that is not tagged as "free"?
To request permission to embed that material,
including the URL of your Web site and the intended placement of the video.
What about materials in languages other than English?
As the system grows, we will be adding materials in a variety of European and Asian languages.
